Male Driver. Female Passenger. Female tossed her lit cigarette onto very dry shoulder of road on Glenmore Drive, spraying red embers all over as it bounced. (Glenmore Drive has already had a fire this week that required 2 helicopters to put out) 1 minute later the Male tossed his lit cigarette butt onto Bernard street, at my car, after I had honked at them for throwing the first burning cigarette (this 2nd cigarette now spraying red burning embers all over) Kelowna is currently covered in smoke and is fighting fires daily with dry grass/shrubs all along the roadsides. These people from Alberta purposely threw the 2nd cigarette in revenge for being honked at for the first. Classless.

We went to the Tim Hortons Drive Thru and it was a black car in front of us. It was a male driver with facial hair and he was wearing sunglasses with a female passenger. She opened her door and left a full bag of garbage in a McDonald's bag in the muddle of the drive thru. Once they paid she then threw out an empty Gatorade bottle from her window just in the middle of the road. It so disgusting to see people litter anywhere but they did it in public in the middle of a drive thru! Hopefully they get authorities to contact them and warn them about there behavior.

While commuting from North Saanich to Victoria today along Pay Bay Highway I witnessed the driver throw what appeared to be a cigarette butt, then about 15 minutes later, closer to Victoria, both the driver and his passenger threw out what appeared to be cigarette butts. The truck is a very dark green, almost black. had a ladder in the pick up and a large brown metal box with an "N" sticker on it.

I followed this vehicle for around 10-15 minutes as we drove Westbound on 16th Ave. During that time the driver chainsmoked 3 cigarettes and threw all 3 butts out the window. It's an ignorant thing to do at the best of times, but given that the Lower Mainland is blanketed in smoke from wildfires right now, you'd think the driver would have been a extra-aware of the fire hazard created by throwing butts out!

I wasn't able to take a video because I just pulled my phone out when the person threw the cigarette butt in the grass next to the highway. Both driver and passenger were smoking but the passenger threw the cigarette butt. It's really hot outside already plus there was more than one accident on the hwy and it's really horrible to see someone soo irresponsible.
