The vehivle was in the passing lane (left). I was behind approx .5 km. I noticed a large spray project from the highway, on the drivers side of the vehicle ahead of me. When I passed where I had seen it, there was a perfectly round Tim Horton's large coffee cup rolling in the middle of the highway, as well as the contents of the cup on side. So that tells me they did not drive over it as it was not smashed, or bent out of shape.
