Dark blue Mazda 3, eastbound in left lane on Sooke Road. Dropped cigarette butt out of driver's window. Raised my hand with palm up to indicate "What are you doing??". Then at intersection of Sooke Road and Goldstream, driver turned left westbound on Goldstream, and flipped me the bird twice (oooh, they're so tough when they're turning away!). Obviously knew they did something wrong, but apparently it's my fault. Suppose they'll go cry to mommy now, and claim they didn't do it.

He had his window down, heavy traffic, smoking. When there was 1/4 left, still lit, he threw it out his window, carelessly, into the traffic. He was right beside me in the far right lane, going East. I think he turned right on Boundary. He was roughly in his late 50's, grey hair. Made me really angry that I wrote his license plate down as I watched him smoke, knowing he was going to just throw it out the window. It was really sunny and warm outside and its mid June. He should be fined. I think there was a little blue flag on his SUV. It was a grey/brown color, older model.

On my way into work this morning (June 13th) I witnessed a women with dark shoulder length hair toss her lit cigarette out of her moving vehicle. We were traveling to fast for me to retrieve the butt and return to her, but I did lay on my horn in hopes that she new she was busted!!

I was unable to locate the name of the company however it was a plumbing pipe supplier of some kind. The driver knew I was watching and tried to speed ahead to drop his lit cigarette out of sight. This is in an area where farmland, new construction and existing residences all meet which makes it very dangerous

Older Asian man in front of me tossed his lit butt out his window. I stopped my car, picked up his smoking butt, traffic was slow, so when I caught up to him, I but my e brake on, went to his window and gave him his butt back, and said DO NOT THROW BURNING CIGS out of your car, and that I was taking a picture of his license and would be reporting this.... My grown son was in my car to be witness to this if needed. I also have a picture of his car and plate.
